A former senior diplomat and strategist, Eran served as Israel’s Consul in San Francisco and the Pacific Northwest. He was Deputy Head of Israel’s National Security Council at the Prime Minister’s office, and Head of Policy Planning at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is a non-resident fellow at the Middle East Institute in Washington, D.C. He is a prominent voice in the Israeli public policy and national security sphere, and in international media.

He now leads RaizIt, advising dozens of public, municipal, and social organizations in Israel and abroad on strategic planning and participatory processes.
